What PUBG MOBILE LIGHT actually is
It is not a fan client and it is not the old PUBG Mobile Lite app. Level Infinite’s listing calls it the original PUBG MOBILE, now lighter: one first download, Erangel ready, extra maps and modes pulled later if you want them.
You keep the same account, the same friends, and the same update cadence as the main game. The job of LIGHT is to cut the storage and extra-package tax that stops people on smaller phones from installing at all.
If you play on an Indian BGMI account, the local cousin is BGMI Lite — different store name, same family. Do not mix region clients hoping anti-cheat will not notice.
How to pre-register
The publisher on the real Android listing is Level Infinite. The application ID is com.tencent.igfit. On iOS, use the official App Store page (expected Nov 12, 2026). If either store looks wrong, you are not on the official page.
